Tracy Bottomley

FOUNDER AND CEO

Tracy brings more than 40 years of sales, business development, and operational experience across the technology and telco industries.

She began her career with Acorn Computers, one of the first PCs for the home, manufacturers, and was later seconded to ARM during its early development to support its sales operations. Tracy subsequently joined Apple as Sales Desk Manager, where she established the internal sales team and order desk serving the education sector.

She moved into the telco industry as Business Development Manager at Geneva Technology, later acquired by Convergys. Geneva introduced one of the world’s first best-of-breed rating and billing solutions for telcos.

In 2000, Tracy founded eContact Services, a specialist telco lead generation agency. For more than 25 years since then, she has led campaigns for software and hardware vendors supplying technology to Communications Service Providers to deliver high quality leads.

Tracy’s experience, from early computing and semiconductor technology to telco billing and modern communications services, gives her an extensive understanding of complex technology propositions, buying structures, and the challenges vendors face when developing opportunities with CSPs.

Niamh Clancy

CO-HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Niamh brings over 17 years of senior membership and commercial experience gained with two of the global telco market’s leading leadership organisations: the TM Forum and GSMA.

Before joining eCS, Niamh spent almost nine years as Senior Member Engagement Director at TM Forum. There, she managed and developed relationships with major communications service provider groups, including América Móvil, MTN, Telefónica and Orange.

Prior to TM Forum, Niamh spent more than eight years with the GSMA, progressing to become Director of Member Services. She helped develop the Member Services function, led the growth of membership and subscription revenues, and managed strategic relationships with leading operator groups including Vodafone, Hutchison, Telefónica, AT&T, Orascom, T-Mobile and Orange.

Her experience gives Niamh an extensive understanding of how global telcos, technology companies serving network operators, and industry organisations operate. At eCS, this strengthens her ability to understand client objectives and build productive relationships.

As Head of Business Development at eCS, Niamh’s telco background, and telco industry knowledge and experience, as well as her contacts with industry leaders provide clear value to eCS’ clients.

Keith Brody
CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Keith brings more than 25 years of senior marketing, communications, market analysis, and content-development experience, with a particular focus in telco technology marketing and complex B2B propositions.

He began his telco career as Editor at Financial Times Telecoms, where he edited Telecoms World and Billing International magazines as well as a range of telco newsletters. From there, he moved to the consultancy firm Ovum where he co-authored a study on Next Generation Billing Systems.

Keith subsequently spent more than six years with BSS vendor MetraTech, later acquired by Ericsson, in the role of Senior Director of Corporate Marketing. His work there supported the international promotion of complex OSS and BSS technologies, to customers operating across global markets.

After MetratTech he joined and spent six years at data processing specialist DigitalRoute as Head of Communications. There, he lead the creation of marketing content and managed the company’s international media and analyst-relations programmes. 

As Chief Marketing Officer at eCS, Keith’s editorial background, telco knowledge and experience of marketing for companies selling complex communications solutions help ensure that our client’s company’s messaging is clear, credible and relevant to telco decision-makers.

Brian Murray

CO-HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Brian brings more than 20 years of sales management, business development, and team leadership experience to eCS. He has a particularly strong record of success in lead qualification, pipeline development, and customer engagement.

Prior to joining eCS, Brian held senior roles with responsibility for technology sales, channel development, and outsourced business services. 

His experience includes managing lead-qualification activity for Big Data solutions and also for broader technology portfolios across Northern Europe. Brian has also worked with data-security specialist Comforte AG, where he supported the development of channel partnerships across EMEA. Brian’s understanding of regional markets and his ability to build productive partner relationships contributed to the company’s channel-development activity.

As Co-Head of Business Development at eCS, Brian uses his experience to understand client objectives and his technology-sector knowledge and experience managing high-performing teams to help turn our client’s propositions into qualified sales opportunities.
