The client
The client is an Indian company that has a number of different offerings for network operators including its data migration solution. The company specialises in transforming and modernizing telco applications and the data they ingest focusing on migrating and re-engineering legacy feeds from applications and analytics sources to cloud-native platforms. Its unique approach is powered by cutting-edge Generative AI and it streamlines the migration process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition with minimal disruption to current operations.
The campaign
Telcos know that they are sitting on a potential gold-mine of data which, harnessed correctly, could drive better decision-making. Legacy processes and systems, however, consistently present a barrier to fully exploiting the opportunities that abound because vital data cannot easily be migrated from one source to another, where it may be urgently needed.
In this campaign, eCS was able to articulate how the complexities of migration could be overcome, and dependencies on incumbent vendors that hindered migration processes could be reduced (thus accelerating migration). In particular, we were able to identify where issues of data accuracy, project failures, and cost issues were arising for telcos with data migration needs and demonstrate how they could be overcome.
We were also able to demonstrate how Generative AI could be used to power data migration in scenarios including inventory data, customer data, billing data, and more, plus how data could be deployed to improve financial operations and total-cost-of-ownership management.
